Day 4: Quiet day

Today was yet another beautiful cloudless day with blue skies. And the weather wasn't that cold, and it was great. Some of us was wearing in our summer clothing. Sunday was the 'quiet' day we had today.

We caught the train to Omotosando, where the rich people live, and it is the rich part of Tokyo.... it is SO many people all over the streets, we were walking along, there was a long lines around, for the stores, and the other for the music fans etc. We all also, spotted many 'expensive' cars such as lamborgini's -- they are a lot to be seen driving around the streets, but not in Canberra... may we mention, ferrarai's too??? Yes, there was some zooming around besides they were rarely seen in Canberra as well.

We walked along the markets in the alleys of omotosando, some of us bought some few stuffs. Had lunch at Loteierra food store, it is similar to McDonald's but they don't serve drinks but burgers, we had some of these burgers, and sure were tasty. Alix bought new sunglasses.

We went to Meiji Shrine, it was beautiful and many people were there. We saw some people pray in the shrine as well. Jacob and Nick took a lot of photos of the shrine and its surroundings. Then we went to see if the 'mods' band did some dance, but unfortunately it was only brief. So we contiued into omotosando and went inside to 'Kiddy land' building but it was so busy with MANY people, even though we couldn't get in one of these floors! We will return back later. Fortunately, we stopped by at Oreinal Baazar store, there was so many beauitful things there, everyone bought few things from the store. Wonderful.

By mid afternoon, we returned back to our hotel, Nick grabbed a couple of hours sleep, while the kids chilled in the other room for a bit. We all went out for dinner, and everyone had the same order - which is pork in crumbs, miso soup, salad and rice. Dinner was great!

We rest for Day 5 tomorrow...
