It's the home straight for Jacob and Alix

Yes their stint in Tokyo is coming to and end.  We will put them on the train to the airport tomorrow about lunchtime and by Saturday morning they will be in Sydney (with their bags in Honolulu).
Tonight we wandered down the street from our hotel to Akasaka - pretty well everything was closed but we did find a little soba restaurant where we could have dinner.  These little places are sort of fast food Japanese style.   You select (and pay for) your dinner from a ticket machine (very cheap) and then give the ticket to the waitress who gives it to the chef and within a few minutes your dinner is served.    We had a mix of katsudon (which is a pork cutlet in egg on rice) and udon - which are the thick noodles.   Delicious!   Jacob is packing up at the moment and is struggling to fit it all in.   It will be a bit sad to see them go..............well Jake at least.
